Enns Design Office (EDO) is a creative design studio based in Iqaluit, Nunavut. We work closely with partners to craft smart, adaptable solutions with ambitious social, cultural, and energy-performance goals.  Recent projects address critical gaps in shelter, housing, and education in Canada’s Eastern Arctic.

Jonathan Enns︎︎︎ (HBAS, MArch, OAA) is a maker, educator and architect.

Before founding EDO, Jonathan was on the faculty at the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto, and led design consulting projects for global companies—including Japan’s largest homebuilder—at Continuum Innovation (Boston). He also worked at several international design and architecture studios, including Front Inc. (New York), Zimmer Schmidt Architekten (Zurich), nArchitects (New York), and dRMM (London)

Jonathan is a graduate of the University of Waterloo’s School of Architecture and Princeton University’s Master of Architecture program.
